• John Elliott Raises more than $650,000 for Charity

John Elliott, Founder and CEO of Elliott Insurance Brokers has made national news this week when he raised $651,000 for Health Hope Zambia, the charity he is co-director of.

John has been in Antarctica with The Unstoppables, a group of like-minded Australian entrepreneurs with a focus on productivity, progress and philanthropy. The Unstoppables is a movement raising the financial intelligence of Australia, igniting the Entrepreneurial Spirit and taking Entrepreneurs to next level and was created to bring Entrepreneurs together to experience directly the power of collaboration.

The Antarctic trip is the brainchild of self-made millionaire businessman Julio De Laffitte, who has set up The Unstoppables to foster collaboration between entrepreneurs. The group is heading to the frozen continent for eight days in search of inspiration and ideas they hope will lead to about $1 billion worth of business deals.

The entrepreneurs, who came from a cross-section of sectors including technology, agriculture, fashion, financial services and property development, also raised $651,000 for a Zambian hospital charity run by Perth insurance broker John Elliott.

Health Hope Zambia has been a project John has participated in with great interest since it was founded by his good friend and long time client, Brendan Clarke.
